I have been considering changing the name of this website as the use of WTF puts many people off; however, WTF can mean whatever you want it to mean, so I will continue to use it.
Also, having hit WTF Web Design on the head, I am now adding web design to WTF SEO. So a new target for me is the term Web Design Portsmouth.
I say Portsmouth; however, as with other pages on this website, I will be covering Hampshire and parts of West Sussex and Surrey. The main emphasis is Portsmouth; Southampton, Chichester; Fareham; Gosport; Havant; Waterlooville and Winchester.
I am doing this as I get frustrated by having to clean up other people’s websites that have been created by people who seem to have no idea of what it takes to get a website ranking in modern-day web design and SEO.
I will be putting together several options that should work for clients; these will be budget dependent. For instance, the website’s hosting could add £20 a year to the cost, while the top option will be £12.50 a month. I will discuss the value to potential clients later.
As to my fees, well, I like to think that a WTF web designed website will have SEO included from the start; however, a few things will need to happen to help the website get indexed, which will cost me money. I’m afraid this cost will be passed on to you, the client.
Therefore, my likely costs will be around £149 for a 4-page website. Consisting of a home page, an about page, and a contact and privacy page. Other pages will be charged at around £10 a page to build.
After the initial costs, there will be a monthly fee, which will be minimal if you go with the cheapest option. This will cover regular updates to the back end of the website and any changes you need.
